Middlesex CC offers mini-mesters, expanded engineering
This fall, in addition to the regular 15-week semester, Middlesex Community College is offering two accelerated, eight-week “mini-mesters.” Registration is open for all fall courses, and financial aid is available for those who qualify.
Fall mini-mester I runs Sept. 4 to Oct. 23; mini-mester II runs Oct. 28 to Dec. 18. For more information and a full list of mini-mester course offerings, visit https://www.middlesex.mass.edu/minimesters or call 800-818-3434.
Also, MCC’s Engineering Science Transfer Degree Program now offers four tracks: Mechanical, Civil/Environmental, Electrical/Computer and, new this fall, Chemical Engineering. Registration is now open for fall-semester courses at Middlesex. Classes begin Wednesday, Sept. 4, on the Bedford and Lowell campuses, and online.

presents program this weekend
Dracut Arts’ July program is Friday, July 19, and Saturday, July 20, at Christ Church United, 10 Arlington Road.
The event begins with an art show on July 19, from 4 to 9 p.m., with a reception featuring painter Donna Berger from 7 to 9 p.m.
The exhibit continues on July 20, from 1 to 6 p.m. Also on Saturday, author Dale T. Phillips will read from his works and answer questions from the audience, starting at 4:30 p.m., followed by a reception.
The event will be capped off with a performance by the violin/guitar duo The Flower Pistils on July 20, starting at 7 p.m. While all other events are free, the concert will cost $20 ($15 for students and seniors).
