DRACUT — A 56-year-old man struck by an Audi sedan two weeks ago on Bouchard Avenue has died, according to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan.
Julio Rivera-Lucena, of Dracut, succumbed to his injuries on Monday.
The incident took place around 6:45 p.m. on Jan. 30 in the area of 77 Bouchard Ave., a fifth of a mile northwest of its intersection with Varnum Road.
The driver pulled over immediately after striking the man with her Audi crossover.
A Bouchard Avenue resident, and witness to the accident aftermath, said he saw the victim laying on the side of the road, unconscious, and suffering from abrasions to his head and face.
The man was flown to Tufts Medical Center by MedFlight Helicopter.
No charges have been filed at this time. The incident remains under investigation.
