Dracut woman charged with drunken driving after Pelham crash

PELHAM, N.H. — Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash allegedly involving alcohol impairment just before 6 p.m. Wednesday in the area of 11 Bridge St.

Pelham police officers charged Valerie Bourassa, 30, of Dracut, with two counts of driving under the influence, aggravated driving while intoxicated and driving after suspension.

Bourassa was driving north on Bridge Street in a 2009 Ford Fusion when she rear-ended a 2000 Honda Accord driven by 50-year-old Ronald Perrin, of Lowell, police said in a press release.

No injuries were reported, according to police.

Bourassa will be arraigned in Salem District Court at 8 a.m. Jan. 22.
