DRACUT — There will be a water main repair in Dracut from approximately 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thursday, according to a release from the Dracut Water Supply District.

The water main will be isolated at Lakeview Avenue between Frederick Street and Victory Lane.

“The water main isolation is to repair a water main break at the intersection of Lakeview Avenue and Old Road,” the release states. “Please prepare appropriately to have lower water pressure during this time period.”

The district assures residents that their water service will be restored as quickly as possible and said they may experience dirty water when service is restored. The district urges residents to open an outside faucet until the water clears.
