BRIDGEWATER — Dracut High junior Erin McMeniman finished second in the javelin to highlight local efforts at the MIAA All State Meet at Bridgewater State on Saturday.

All-State track meet

McMeniman heaved the javelin 139 feet, 6 inches.

Dracut girls

Senior Mikaylah Schwartz took fifth in the shot put (38-8). Junior Sarah Wilson claimed seventh in the pole vault (9-6) and McMeniman earned eighth in the discus (110 even).

Lowell girls

The quartet of Sophia Vergados, Kimesha Lewis, Alysea Kim and Lynn Jean took 8th in the girls 4×400 relay with a time of 4:04.14.

Billerica girls

Alyssa Harris finished sixth in the 200 in 25.69, qualifying her for the New England Meet. Vanessa Attaya placed eighth in the shot put (37-3.75).

Junior Mia Herrling turned in a second-place finish in the high jump with a leap of 5-4 to lead Pelham. Junior Callie Lindsey was fifth in that event with a jump of 5-2.

Junior Cam Starr took third in the boys’ 3,200 with a time of 9:32.00.

All three athletes will move on to the All-New England meet next Saturday.
