Andrew Dickson netted 2 goals and added an assist, while defenseman Kyle McManus scored 2 goals to power the Dracut High boys hockey team to a 7-0 victory over Hamilton-Wenham during non-league action Wednesday.


Elsewhere, Billerica received excellent goaltending in a 1-0 victory over Haverhill.

Austin Ciszek had a goal and an assist, while Jake Callery, Tyler Roberge and Nate Lapointe had 2 assists each.

RJ Patterson and Adam Berger also had single tallies for Dracut. Ryan Hardy and Fred Kaszalski combined for the shutout

Wilmington 1

Danny Woods scored the lone goal for the Wildcats, who were defeated by an outstanding Arlington squad. The Spy Ponders held a 35-14 shot advantage. AJ McKearney and Tom Worob picked up the assists on the goal.

McKearney as well as Jared Aucoin, Colin Duffy and Tommy Robarge had strong games as defensemen, while goalie Ryan St. Jean was outstanding making 32 saves for WHS (2-5-4).

Billerica 1

The Indians (1-9-2) earned their first win of the season thanks to a goal by Ryan Jackson coming with less than three minutes left in the game on an assist from Matt Covino.

Goalie Scott Murphy was tremendous in making 42 saves to earn the shutout.

North Middlesex 4

Donald Frederick powered the Patriots with a goal and 2 assists.

Also finding the back of the net were Michael Amari, Matthew McCarthy and Sean Lynch, who added an assist. Matthew Metras dished out 2 assists for North Middlesex (8-2-3), which received 32 saves from Joe Sheridan.

In girls action, Tewksbury/Methuen skated past Cambridge, 3-1, Mansfield shut out Shawsheen Tech, 8-0, and Arlington defeated Wilmington, 4-1.
