DRACUT — An electronics recycling day will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at St. Marguerite D’Youville Church, 1340 Lakeview Ave., in the parking lot.
The fee is $5 each for electronics such as computers, scanners and copiers; $10 each for dishwashers, dryers, stoves, micowaves, dehumidifiers, refrigerators, air conditioners, exercise equipment, lawn mowers, small engine items and snowblowers and television sets from 10 to 25 inches. There is no fee for cables, keyboards, cell phones or car batteries.
Also sought, for no fee, old or new and unwanted bicycles. The aim of Bicycle Recycle Day is to keep bikes from being thrown out when they can be reused. Any bicycle is a good bicycle. Sewing machines are also wanted, at no fee. For information, contact Dennis Wood 508-277-7513
