PELHAM — Have you been affected by cancer? Are you one of the millions of people who lost a loved one, supported a friend through their fight, or celebrated with a survivor? Please consider joining an inspirational, emotional and life-changing event — The Relay For Life.

An informational meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, in the Pelham High School Library. All Dracut, Windham and Pelham residents are welcome. Invite friends, families, neighbors, and colleagues to join you in creating a team and participating with other empowering individuals.

The Fourth Annual Relay For Life is returning to Pelham on June 1-2. All funds benefit the American Cancer Society, where 82 cents from every dollar goes directly to programs and research. Financial contributions will help 350 people per day celebrate another birthday.

This philanthropic walk is a powerful way to get surrounding towns together. The goal is to see an increased representation from neighbors in Pelham, Windham and Dracut as we join forces to raise funds and awareness for cancer research. We’ve already accomplished a community fundraising total of over $500,000 to date.
