His buzzer-beating 3-point shot at the end of regulation sent the game into the extra period where he also made two huge steals to seal the win for the Middies.
Wakefield took a four-point lead, 16-12, into the half as their talented big men were forces around the basket.
The Warriors extended their lead to 10 points before Dracut stormed back to tie things up as Wakefield got into foul trouble.
Mitchell Monette and Cam McCullough totaled 10 points apiece, with Kyle Hould (4), Jeremy Gray (3), Jovan Aigbekaen (2) and Tyler Pacheco (1) also scoring.
Colby Manzueta (4) and Kevin Carney (2) had rebounds.
William Peters, Josh Hastie and Michael Patterson contributed to the win with good defensive play, helping Dracut improve to 13-3.
A hard zone defense stymied the Dracut girls, as they lost to Wilmington.
The Lady Middies trailed at the half, 14-10, as they struggled with the imposing height of the Wildcats. Wilmington’s twin towers controlled the boards and converted any misses.
Dracut’s defense got them back in the game in the second half as they tied things up 19-19 before falling 26-21.
Lindsey Emond and Jaxy Marquez scored 6 points with Julia Otoski (4), Melissa Iannuzzo (3) and Emily Cloutier (2) also scoring.
Lilly King (2) and Olivia Pantano had rebounds, while Julianna Fagan made 4 steals. Erin McMeniman and Kate Simpson played good defense in this defeat, leaving Dracut at 10-4 this year.
