Learn more about them at two health programs information sessions to be Tuesday, June 8, at 11 a.m. in the student Lounge in the Bedford Campus Center, and Thursday, June 24, at 11 a.m. in the assembly room of the MCC Federal Building in Lowell.
Programs include dental assisting, dental hygiene, dental laboratory technology, diagnostic medical sonography, medical assisting, nursing, and radiologic technology.
The program is offered as a full-time day or as a part-time evening/weekend option.
Middlesex also offers health careers certificate programs in dental assisting, diagnostic medical sonography, medical assisting and vascular technology.

Learn more about Middlesex Community College’s nationally recognized Transition Program, a two-year, noncredit certificate program for students with learning/cognitive disabilities.
This program is designed for students without the skills necessary to complete requirements for an associate degree.
A public information session for prospective students and their families will be held Thursday, June 3, from 9 to 11 a.m., in MCC’s Bedford Campus Center, Café East, 591 Springs Road.
Students attend classes designed to teach independent-living skills, computer and job-survival skills, and social skills. They will also be placed in an internship program. Transition students may participate in all Middlesex student activities while receiving specialized coursework and training tailored to meet their needs.
Information session participants will receive an overview of the program, as well as in-depth information on the curriculum, application procedures, details of the required internship portion of the program, and prospective job opportunities.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED credential, interest in training for entry-level work in business and industry, fifth- to eighth-grade level reading and math skills, and the maturity and emotional stability to effectively participate in a program on a college campus.

This summer Middlesex Community College is offering free preparation classes to any high school student (from the classes of 2003 through 2010) who has not passed the math or English portion of the Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS) exam.
Classes will be held Monday through Thursday, July 6 through Aug. 5, from 9 a.m. to noon, on MCC’s Lowell campus. Refreshments and bus tokens will be provided.
The registration deadline is June 1.

Upgrade your education and skills this summer at Middlesex Community College. Enroll in one of our three summer sessions, a Saturday accelerated session or the Sprint program for entering first-year students – or send your kids to one of our unique summer camps.
Summer session I will run Monday through Thursday, June 1 to July 1 (four days per week).
Summer session II will run Monday through Thursday, July 6 to Aug. 5 (four days per week).
Summer session III will run June 2 to July 26 or June 1 to July 20. Classes meet either Monday and Wednesday evening, or Tuesday and Thursday evening (two times per week).
The summer Saturday accelerated session will run June 26 to Aug. 14.
MCC’s Sprint program helps entering first-year college students improve their reading, writing or math skills before beginning college coursework. This intensive, eight-week summer program runs four mornings a week, Monday through Thursday, June 14 to Aug. 5.
Summer camps at Middlesex are designed to actively engage children, ages 8 to 15, in a fun learning environment. This year, more than 30 camps will be offered July 6 through Aug. 12, exploring the fields of design, science, technology and the arts. Most camps run Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. No camps will be held on Fridays.
