DRACUT — A household hazardous waste disposal day will be held on Saturday, April 17, 8 a.m. to noon, at the Dillon Center Public Works Yard, 833 Hildreth St.

This is a residential collection only; no commercial material will be accepted.

There is a $20 per-vehicle entrance fee, payable by cash or check, with a maximum 50-gallon or 50-pound limit per vehicle. Proof of residency is required.

Items that will be accepted include oil-based paints, lighter fluid, gasoline, kerosene, antifreeze, swimming pool chemicals, and empty propane tanks (limit of four).

Flea-control products, hobby supplies, artist supplies, thermometers, and thermostats will also be accepted.

Clean Harbors Environmental Services, Inc. will oversee the handling of all hazardous materials. For more information, call 978-453-8162.
