The New England Diamond Dawgs baseball team recently placed fourth in an Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) 12-and-under championship series. The team traveled to the Wide World of Sports at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla., and competed against teams from Rhode Island, New York, Florida, Georgia and Texas. Based in Dracut, the team is comprised of players from Bedford, Billerica, Dracut, Lowell, North Reading, Tewksbury and Pelham.
