DRACUT — Christmas trees only may be dropped off for recycling at the following locations until Feb. 3:
* Council on Aging parking lot on Mammoth Road;
* Tree Department parking lot on Lakeview Avenue;
* Hovey ballfield parking lot on Pleasant Street;
* Town Hall lower parking lot on Arlington Street;
* Richardson Cemetery driveway on Broadway Road;
* Varnum Cemetery driveway on Parker Road;
* The Cemetery Department parking lot on Leavitt Street.
No wreaths please and remove all bags and plastic netting before disposal.

DRACUT — The Dracut High School string orchestra is providing a Christmas tree pickup and disposal for Dracut residents on Jan. 10. Please place your tree outside your home or on an outside porch or deck by 9 a.m. Snow date is Jan. 11. A minimum donation of $5 is requested to benefit the DHS string orchestra.
DRACUT — To assist the residents with the cleanup of tree branches from the ice storm of Dec. 12, residents can pull the fallen branches to the shoulder of the roadway and the Dracut Public Works Department will clean up the debris during the winter months. Please note this does not include Christmas trees.

DRACUT — Residents are reminded that the town is currently operating under winter parking regulations to aid the removal of snow and ice.
In order to keep the streets and ways open to the motoring public, and for the public safety of the entire community, the following town bylaw will be strictly enforced throughout the winter months.
It shall be unlawful for the operator or person in charge of any vehicle, other than acting in an emergency, to park that vehicle on any public street on any day between the hours of midnight and 6 a.m. from Dec. 1 to March 15.
For any violation of this provision, an offender may be punished by a fine not exceeding $15.
