The Dracut “A” and “C” Blue Pop Warner teams remain undefeated after shutout, showdown wins over Billerica last weekend.

Defensive standouts were Ray Moldanado and Derek Bruce, who each had interceptions. Ray Wilkins had a tackle in the end zone for a safety.

Obie Amafuele, Dante Torres and Bobby Savarese all played well on defense, while Nick Bridge came up with a big fumble recovery to stop a drive.

Offensively, Zach Bassett and Leo Lakmany ran for touchdowns behind the blocking of Brian Boumil, Jacob Albuja, Mike Maille and Dequawn Tuff. Ray Chim also had many gutsy runs, pounding the ball to get key first downs.

Dracut “B” 22 (OT)

Dracut dropped a heartbreaker in overtime. Scoring touchdowns for the Middies were James MacDonald, Matt Peacock and Kyle Rubert, who also kicked two PATs.

The defense was led with an interception by Zack Gray and a fumble recovery by Zack Gentile. Also playing well was Austin Bobb, John Scano, Jimmy Shaw, Brandon Schwartz, Mike Trzcienski and Sandy Kasinskas.

The winners posted another shutout victory over a well-balanced Billerica team to celebrate coach John Hall’s 100th game.

This crowd-pleasing victory was led by offensive standouts Jacey Hebert, Ty Bassett, Nick Malho and Stephen Valente. Defensive stalwarts were Cody Demers, Louie Hughes, Johnny Mendonca, Daniel Powers and Brett Jackson.

Brian Pacheco fired two long touchdown passes to receiver Sammy Martin, who has four touchdown receptions so far this season.

The offense was powered behind the offensive line of Adam Otoski, game captain. Eddie Mendoca, Casey Mendonca, game captain Steve Pelletier, Josh Lacagnina, Jonathan Drossos, Tyler Burgoyne, Tim Morris, Danny O’Connell, Marcos Ruiz, Brandon Ouellette and Bryan Outridge.
