PELHAM — At the Pelham Library this week, the children will be “Exploring the Outback.” The children will hear stories about the customs and cultures of the Aborigines and make a craft based on an Aboriginal style of art.

Miss Debbie would like to remind readers to fill out their raffle tickets for the weekly drawings and to be entered into the drawing for the bikes at the end of the summer!

Children in the Kangaroos group will be treated to a visit from Mad Science on Thursday, July 17, at 10 a.m. This program is an interactive science workshop titled Down Under with Science and will feature the ABCs of Sea Life, Salty Water activity, Meet the Marsupials and Australian Animals Plate Rubbings. The program is sponsored by the Friends of Pelham Library.

The MOMS Club of Pelham will hold its monthly meeting Monday, July 14, in the Molly Hobbs Room of the library from 9:30-10:30 a.m.

The Joeys, ages newborn and up, will meet Friday morning, July 18, from 10:-10:45 a.m. This group of little library patrons and their families will enjoy a book or two and some songs and finger plays.
