METHUEN –The Methuen Board of Trade has announced its annual scholarship program for Methuen residents who will be attending schools of higher education in the coming year.

Any Methuen resident who plans to enter college in the fall may apply, regardless of the high school he or she attends. Non-residents attending a Methuen School will also be considered.

Awards will be based on many factors, including academic achievement, extracurricular activities, leadership, financial need, and other demonstrated skills and talents.

Applications, due by April 4, are available at the guidance departments of the local high schools and at Nevins Memorial Library, 305 Broadway. Applications may also be printed at www.methuenboardoftrade.org.
