Charles J. Ogonowski has completed a U.S. Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) field training encampment at Hanscom Air Force Base.

The four-or six-week summer training camp is designed to motivate, educate, and evaluate the cadets’ leadership potential to be Air Force officers, and to determine their potential for entry into the ROTC Professional Officer Course (POC).

Upon graduating from the attending college or university and successfully completing the ROTC program requirements, the cadet is commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Air Force.

Ogonowski is a student at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

He is the son of James Ogonowski of Dracut.
