LOWELL — Ste. Jeanne d’Arc School is looking to fill the following paid positions for the 2007-08 school year: girls soccer coach (fall); co-ed cross country coach (fall); co-ed track and field (spring); and intramural basketball program coordinator (winter). The Athletic Department is also looking for the following volunteers: soccer field liner (4-plus home matches); and baseball-softball field liner (5-plus home games). The Ecumenical Athletic Association is looking for volunteers on its board of directors: soccer coordinator; cross country coordinator; volleyball coordinator; and track and field coordinator.

LOWELL — The Lowell Devils will hold a Future Stars Tourney, a youth hockey tournament for Mites, Oct. 6-8 at Conway Ice Arena in Nashua, N.H. Registration limited to 16 teams in four divisions. Each team will play in four games, with a championship game for each level — A, B, C and D. The championship team in each division will win a trophy. One team will have the chance to win a tour of the Devils locker room. Each child will receive a Devils medal, a Devils mini-stick and a ticket to the Devils’ regular season home opener Oct. 13.
