Middlesex Community College has scheduled a fun and stimulating series of one- and two-week summer camps from July 9 to Aug. 17 on the Bedford and Lowell campuses. More than 30 camps, exploring the fields of aviation, science, technology, humanities and fine and performing arts will be offered. Designed to actively engage the campers in an exciting learning environment, most MCC summer camps are geared toward students 10 to 15, with some opportunities for children ages 8 to 10.
Returning camps include the popular LEGO mindstorms, aviation (ACE), and photography camps, as well as forensics and wilderness wonders camps. New this year are camps exploring filmmaking, nanotechnology, anime, writing, physics of thrill rides and engineering. There will also be a one-week musical theater camp for 8-10 year olds in Bedford and one-week and two-week musical theater camps for 11- to 15-year-olds in Lowell.
Most camps run Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. An optional after-camps program, for on-campus camps, provides campers with stimulating activities from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Health Careers degree programs include dental assisting, dental hygiene, dental lLaboratory Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Medical Assisting and radiologic technology. MCC’s associate degree in nursing program is offered as a full-time day option or as a part-time evening/weekend option.
Middlesex also offers Health Careers certificate programs in Breast Sonography, Dental Assisting, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Medical Assisting and Vascular Technology.
