PELHAM — Miss Debbie and the children will be talking about birds this week at the Pelham Library.

Together they will read the story Friends of a Feather by Bill Cosby. According to the book jacket: “In this story about a zealous bird who learns to soar from under the shadow of his best’s friend’s wings comes a powerful message about being oneself and the glorious freedom that can bring!”

Come enjoy this and other books about birds, make a craft and, perhaps spot a bird or two on the library lawn.

On May 3 from 6 to 7 p.m., Marie Yanish will be at the library reading stories and doing a craft about gardening. Drop by the library with your family for this fun event.

On May 4 from 10 to 10:45 a.m., “Book Time with Baby” will again be happening at the library. Miss Debbie will read some simple stories, present some ideas for sharing books with infants, and provide a time and place for young families to visit with each other. Stop by to see what this new program is all about.
