METHUEN POP WARNER A TEAM NOTCHES FIFTH WIN BY NIPPING DRACUT

The Methuen A team scored its fifth win of the season by edging Dracut, while the Methuen D Silver squad blanked its Dracut counterpart last weekend.

Mike Hamel, Jeff McAndrew, Stefan Deas provided plenty of excitement for this Methuen win. Tying up the loose ends to secure their fifth victory were Cal Carroll, Brian Sim and Trey Mesamura.

Despite being on the short end of the score, some fine performances were turned in by Methuen’s Ryan Caredo, Bobby Cole, Matt Boes, Brendan Sullivan, Billy Parker and Nick D’avolio.

Methuen dropped its second game of the season in a knockdown, dragout affair. Jordan Anderson, Eric Lacroix and Josh Nicholson moved the ball well for the offense, while Milton Toledo, Michael Capomaccio, Ben Robertson and Ed Wallace shined on defense.

Kenny Sullivan, Robbie Gramstorf, Connor Simpson and Jacob Amoido contributed on offense for the Rangers while Shane Borelli, Aaron Monahan and Timmy Michelini played well on defense.

Methuen D Silver 13

Dracut 0

Scott Bonneau, Christian Monserat and Paul Shugrue helped Methuen win its fifth game of the of the season. Defensively Joey Jesmer, David Marsan and Brendan Madden stood out.

The E Team Silver lost to Beverly. Paying well for the Little Rangers were James Baglione, Cross Savageau, Kyle Basconcellos and Davio Addesa, who had an extraordinary game on defense.
