Merrimack Valley ‘Y’ names Kenneally executive director

Francis (Frank) J. Kenneally III has been promoted to district executive director of the Merrimack Valley YMCA.

In this role, he will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Lawrence and Methuen YMCA branches, as well as board development, fundraising, and staff development at these facilities.

Kenneally began with the YMCA in 1988 as a part-time program director and camp counselor. He joined the Lawrence YMCA full time in 1993 as the youth and aquatics director. He most recently served as executive director of the Lawrence branch, which just opened a $4 million Family Aquatic Center.
