Champ is a quick learner
PUBLISHED: | UPDATED:

Champ is a sweet, loving 6-year-old neutered male Lab mix that was turned over to the shelter when his owner died.

He loves people and attention will sit at your feet for hours. He will be a dedicated companion to an experienced owner.

Pet of the Week

Champ is not recommended for a home with dogs or cats. He also will need some basic obedience training.

His foster home ends shortly and he will be returned to a shelter. If not placed in a short amount of time, he could be euthanized.

Hopefully, an experienced owner with no other dogs will find it in his or her heart to meet and give Champ a chance.

All dogs adopted from the Greater Derry Humane Society are spayed or neutered, have up-to-date vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and microchipped.

If you are interested in meeting or adopting Champ, call 603-434-1512 and a volunteer will start the adoption-screening process.
