METHUEN — Methuen Exchange Club President Ken Willette, Jr. recently announced that the club’s 4th Annual Taste of Methuen fund-raiser will once again be held at the Guesthouse Suites on April 25 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Tickets are $15 per person. The Taste of Methuen event, which is widely attended by hundreds of participants, has raised nearly $9,000 for the club’s charity account since 2003.

“The Taste of Methuen represents a win-win situation,” said the club’s president. “The area restaurants and eateries that participate are able to showcase their signature dishes to potential new customers. People at the event sample a variety of food items at one location. And, most important, our charity account is replenished.”

In fact, last year’s event attracted almost 300 people and raised more than $3,500 — both records for club.

The Methuen Exchange Club’s charity account directly aids the deserving children of Satin Ann’s Home and the Methuen Arlington Neighborhood, contributes to the “Toys for Tots” program and supports child abuse prevention projects.

Veteran Methuen Exchange Club members Brad and Bryan Gosselin originally created the Taste of Methuen as a highly successful fund-raising vehicle. This year’s co-chairs are Willette and Arthur Hutton.

Ken Willette, Jr. can be contacted for tickets and information at 978-683-0606.

“The Methuen Exchange Club has used its incredible energy to improve the lives of hundreds of families and children in our region. We are looking forward to another outstanding event,” concluded Willette.
