THE VALLEY DISPATCH , Pelham teams prepped for the postseason by posting impressive wins last weekend.

Pelham finished its regular season at 7-1 by whitewashing Concord.

Kevin Cheam, Josh Mederios, Cam Kaiser and Kevin D’Angelo scored the touchdowns. Andrew Koch, Mike Coupal, Ryan Wilson, Jeff Armstrong, Andrew LeClair, Noah Swiderski,Tom Gleason and Craig Harden opened the holes for their backs to exploit.

The defense, led by Kevin Cooney, Ben Petron, Matt Fauvel, Andrew Hume, Dan Cannone, Devin DeCarteret, Nick Fissette, and Damian Cadoret, posted its sixth shutout of the season.

The “Green Machine” played its opening playoff game Nov. 2.

The Pee Wees concluded the regular season with a 33-8 win over the Concord Capitals.

Ryan Greenleaf led the way for Pelham, running for three touchdowns and kicking a two-point conversion. Brian Barnard ran for a touchdown and caught a TD pass from Clayton Morin. David Crichton ran in a conversion.

The hard-hitting defense was once frugal, not allowing the Capitals to get anything going. Mike Boardman, Danny Faia, Jeff Barry, Connor Airey and Joe Perrone had outstanding defensive games.

The Razorbacks will compete in their first playoff game Nov. 3.

The Junior Midgets will continue into the playoffs after posting an 8-0 blockbuster season. Offense was the name of this game. Jake Zahareas (2), Nick Harbilas (2), Tim Schaffer (1) and Stephen Spirou (1) scored the touchdowns, while Cam Walsh toed a pair of 2-point conversion kicks.

Corey Peterson, Phil Greco, Brian Shea, DJ O’Brien, Warren Greenhalgh, Mike Lorenz and Trevor Downs cleared the way with their blocks. Playing well on defense were Joey Scire, Mike Lombard and Dylan Smith.

The Junior Midgets first playoff game is Nov. 6.
