A total of 140 Lowell artists -- painters, photographers, fiber artist, glassmakers, sculptors, jewelers, filmmakers and more -- band together this Saturday and Sunday for the 12th annual Lowell Open Studios, an event to showcase their work and welcome visitors into their studios and spaces to learn how the artists make their art.

They will be showing at the Brush Gallery, Western Avenue Studios, Lowell Gallery, ALL at Appleton Mills, Zeitgeist Gallery, Studio II and The Whistler House Museum of Art both days from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
