HUDSON, N.H. -- A 39-year-old Hudson man is accused of driving drunk after being involved in a car accident Monday evening, according to police.

Jamie Senesi is charged with driving while intoxicated and was released on $500 personal recognizance bail. He's scheduled to appear at the 9th Circuit District Court in Nashua on Feb. 27.

On Monday at about 5:05 p.m., police and firefighters responded to the area of 222 Central St. for a reported car accident.

Upon arrival, officers determined that a 2005 Ford Focus, driven by Ronald Cocolin, 72, of Plaistow, was traveling west on Central Street when a 2007 Acura MDX, driven by Senesi, pulled out of 222 Central St. and collided with Cocolin's car.

Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts, and the airbag in Cocolin's car deployed. There were no reported injuries and no other passengers in the vehicles.
