Natalie Barros, 11, of Tyngsboro, represented Massachusetts at the North America's Music Association International (NACMAI) competition in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., where she received the Rising Star award.

A fifth-grader at St. Michael School in Lowell, she earned top honors as New Country Entertainer of the Year in the age category of 7-12. Natalie has been performing at various local events and has received voice instruction at Dracut Music Center for several years.

DRACUT GARDENERS FEATURED AT MFA: Two Dracut Garden Club members, Mary Jo Baur, head floral arranger, and Juanita Pare, assistant floral arranger, are participating in the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston Art in Bloom 2014.
