NASHUA, N.H. -- Bishop Guertin High School has named John Trisciani as its new head football coach. Trisciani served as an assistant coach for BG from 2014-16.

In addition to his time at Guertin, he has coached on the staff at Londonderry High, Goffstown High and Manchester Memoriall, most recently serving as offensive coordinator and line coach at Memorial during the 2017 season.

"I am honored to be given the opportunity to lead BG's football program," said Trisciani in a statement. "There is a rich football tradition at Bishop Guertin and I look forward to continuing the pride and excellence that the program has offered ... over the years. I am committed to providing our student-athletes with an outstanding experience."

Trisciani is currently building his staff and will be implementing an off-season training program for players in the weeks ahead. He is addressing the issue of injury prevention and safety as a means of improving football participation rates.
