WILMINGTON -- Lowell evened its Northeast League semifinal playoff series at a game apiece with a come-from-behind 7-5 win over host Wilmington last night.
The deciding game of the series will be played Saturday at 6 p.m. at Alumni Field.
Henry Sunaro got the win on the mound for Lowell, going six innings and striking out 11 batters.
Keith Lynch went 2-for-4 with a home run, 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. Matt Smith was 2-for-4 with 2 runs, and Dalton Quinn scored 3 times.
Trailing 5-2 and their season on the brink of being over, top-seeded Lowell scored 2 runs in the sixth inning and 3 more in the seventh inning to win the ballgame.
