FITCHBURG -- Tyngsboro freshman Jaylan Fraser-Mines shattered the meet record by nearly 14 seconds and set a school record while winning the girls' 2-mile in 11:03.50 at at the MIAA Central-West Division 2 Track & Field Championships on Saturday at Fitchburg State.
Tyngsboro teammate junior Kerri Keohane, won the mile in 5:10.86.
Littleton sophomore Hunter Gray won the boys' 110-meter hurdles in 15.83 seconds.
The Tyngsboro girls' 4x800 relay of Liv Paulo, Kyle Fraser-Mines, Jaylan Fraser-Mines and Keohane also won in 10:05.13.
In the Division 1 Meet at Westfield State, North Middlesex senior Michael Niemi won the boys' 110-meter hurdles in 15.27 seconds. North Middlesex senior Neil Maskalenko won the high jump at 6 feet, 4 inches.
The Groton-Dunsatable boys' 4x100 relay of Lucas Acaba, Evan Lexo, Nate Danti and John Thornburn won in 44.22 seconds.
Littleton sophomore Hayden Gray finished seventh in the boys' 200-meter dash (23.53).
Junior Alex Carey-Foster finished eighth in the 800 (2:03.05). The Littleton boys' 4x400 relay finished eighth in 3:40.75.
On the girls' side, junior Sarah Heitmeyer finished fourth in the 400-meter run (1:00.18) and placed fifth in the triple jump (33-7). Sophomore Hannah Tosi finished sixth in the 400 (1:02.92).
Sophomore Alana Johnson finished eighth in the mile (5:30.18). The Littleton girls' 4x400 relay finished second in 4:12.67. The 4x100 relay finished eighth in 53.15 seconds.
Senior Ryan Richard placed second in the boys' shot put (46-5) and fourth in the javelin (150-10).
Junior Mike Davis finished fifth in the 400-meter run (52.06). Senior Johnny Donell finished seventh in the 110-meter hurdles (16.63). The Ayer Shirley boys' 4x100 relay finished eighth in 46.07 seconds.
On the girls' side, sophomore Maddy Moore placed fifth in the high jump (5-0). Sophomore Bryanna Peters placed third in the long jump (16-3), and also finished seventh in the 100-meter dash (13.23) and eighth in the 200 (27.55).
Junior Evan Lexo finished second in the boys' 200-meter dash (22.2) and fourth in the 100 (11.19).
Junior Sarah Morenz placed sixth in the girls' discus (95-11). Junior Taylor White placed sixth in the javelin (104-9). The Groton-Dunstable girls' 4x100 relay of Annie Gold, Mae Kovacs, Emily Gath and Briana Bozkurt finished seventh in 52.09 second.
Junior Chris Skelly finished sixth in the boys' mile in 4:36.13.
Junior Kyle Monahan placed fifth in the high jump (6-0). Sophomore Anton Dotson placed sixth in the long jump (20-1.25).
