Senior captain Mike Brawley made 11 saves while posting his first full-game shutout in goal as Tewksbury blanked Haverhill, 12-0, in a Merrimack Valley Conference boys lacrosse game.

James Sullivan paced the Redmen offense with 4 goals and 1 assist.

Johnny Aylward checked in with 3 goals and 1 assist, while Dave Dempsey added 2 goals and 1 assist.

Colin Quinn (1 assist), Brandon Hibner and Jimmy Hirtle potted 1 goal each for Tewksbury (9-3).

Kevin Dick (2 assists), Luc Surette and Alex Schelfdhault had strong games on defense.

Sophomore attack Zach DeLuca netted the game-winner with 2:07 left to help Shawsheen improve to 6-6.

DeLuca finished with a goal and an assist. Jack Stone had 2 goals and 3 assists, while Josh Bouley had 2 goals and an assist. Tom Avtgis and Jake Nardone had 2 goals each.

Shawsheen junior goalie Kevin Vacca had a big game as well with 20 saves.

Central Catholic 12

Eric Robbins and Jack Innis scored 3 goals apiece to power Central to the MVC win.

Central (8-5) led 6-5 at halftime and held on.

McInnis also set up 2 goals. Alex Parent (assist) and Tommy Canniff also scored 2 goals each. Alex Lester and Steve Bernabei tallied a goal each. Ryan Blatti made 10 saves for Central.

Dracut dropped to 8-3.

Zak Gentile and John Sheppard each had 2 goals and an assist for the Middies. Steven Maxim found the back of the net twice in defeat.

Concord-Carlisle 8

Will Blumenberg had 4 goals and Aidan Long made 10 saves for the Patriots, who had to hold off a late rally by the Warriors to escape with the win on the road during the DCL battle.

Billerica 12

Woburn 4

Drew Laundry scored 4 goals and 1 assist and Jeff Trainor added 5 assists as the Indians (9-5) prevailed in this non-league game.

Danny Lynch potted 3 goals and had 2 assists.

Charlie Bourgeous (1 assist), Tim Herrick and Brandon Derosa scored 1 goal each. John Bossi (8 saves) and Tyler Canto (3 saves) combined for the win in goal.
