Senior Sean Engel scored 3 goals while leading the way on offense for Tyngsboro (5-12-4).

Eighth grader Evan DiGiavannia scored the game-winning goal with five minutes to go, lifting the Red Raiders to a non-league victory. Brent Sullivan added a goal and an assist, while Nick Cohan had one assist and played a great two-way game.

Senior goalie Molly Millett made 19 saves to get the win.

The Red Raiders (6-9-4) were officially eliminated from postseason consideration for the first time in 15 years with a 3-2 loss to Abington earlier this week, which came when Abington converted a third-period penalty shot.


Kevin Ames and Ryan Freker scored the Lowell goals, while assists went to Ryan Ames, Arman Garavanian, Brent Sullivan and Sean Sullivan.

In the first round of the Woburn Irish-American Shootout tournament, the Grey Ghosts came away with a convincing victory behind the performance of Cam MacDonald, who netted two goals and assisted on another.

Tim Curran, Anthony Gulliver, Evan Beatty and Andrew Gounaris had single tallies while goalie Kyle Martin made 31 saves in the net.

Westford (6-7-6) will now play the winner of Woburn/Milton tomorrow and will need to win to qualify for the MIAA Division 1 Tournament.

Senior Danny McNamara notched a hat trick and junior Josh Miller had four assists to lead the Patriots to a dominating victory.

Also helping out were Dylan Connor with two goals, while Justin Estrella, Jay Tobleigh, Ryan McCarthy and Devon Blanchard with one each, while, Brian Walter had two assists.

North Middlesex is now 14-2-3 with the win.

Matt Restuccia made 13 saves for the shutout and four different players scored goals for LC in the Jeff Hayes Tournament in Sandwich.

Mike Guay, Griffin Rega, Aaron Crandall and Dylan Poirier had goals. Jake Barnacle recorded 3 assists and Guay 2.

Defenseman T.J. Lynch was named to the All-Tournament team.

LC previously lost to host Sandwich, 4-0. Restuccia made 28 saves.

Austin O'Neal scored 2 goals, including the winning tally with 2 minutes left to play in this non-league game. O'Neal scored the tying goal earlier in the third period for Wilmington (11-3-7).

John Galasso potted the first Wildcat goal.

Bill Falter had 2 assists. Chris Sartori, Brian Cavanagh, Joe Castellano and Domenic Malatesta notched 1 assist each.

Wilmington goalie Drew Foley made 23 saves.

Derek March scored 2 goals and had an assist, and Josh Rabbitt scored a goal and added 2 assists while pacing Groton-Dunstable's offense in this Roy Conference game.

Justin Cole picked up 2 assists for the Crusaders (16-4, 7-1 Roy Conference).

Kennedy Harper, who last week reached the 100-point plateau in her varsity career, led the attack with a goal and 4 assists as Shawsheen Tech earned a state tournament berth for the first time in the seven-year history of the program.

Kate O'Shea had 2 goals and an assist, and Rachel McLaren notched two tallies as well. Rachel Stalker added the last goal while Leah Sulkerson and Skylar Jacques added single assists.

Shawsheen is now 9-7-2 overall.
