MEDFORD -- Juniors Aaron Martin and Connor Habib finished one-two in the mile to highlight a solid performance by the UMass Lowell men's track and field team at the Tufts Cupid Challenge Invitational on Saturday.

Martin won the mile in a time of 4 minutes, 21.26 seconds. Habib grabbed second in 4:22.34.

Freshman John Fiorello (Tewksbury) finished sixth in the shot put with a throw of 48 feet, 8 inches.

On the women's side, junior Taelour Murphy won two sprints and senior Candace Greene captured the shot put for UML.

Junior Alexis Kitsakos was fifth in the 200, while junior Shaniece Cola (Lowell) was seventh.

Sophomore Andrea Fanciullo (Townsend) finished second with a jump of 17 feet, 10 inches. Senior Karie Judge (Tewksbury) grabbed third in the 400 in 1:01.56. The 4x800 team of Judge, sophomore Kelsey O'Driscoll, freshman Jaclyn Solimine and freshman Erin Donovan (Lowell) finished in 9:50.81.
