Billerica High junior P.J. Garmon won the boys 1,000-meter run in 2:32.11 at the MIAA Division 2 Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday at the Reggie Lewis Center.
Also for the Indians, senior Nick Coates finished sixth in the boys mile (4:28.77). Senior Steve Fulgoni finished seventh in the 300-meter dash (37.46).
Senior Eric Eknaian placed fifth in the shot put (47-11 1/2). The 4x400 relay of Fulgoni, Coates, Felipe Freitas and Garmon finished seventh (3:34.13).
On the girls' side, senior Katie Mulkerin finished third in the 300 meters (41.75) and placed fifth in the long jump (16 feet, 1 inch).
Senior Kyle Reardon finished third in the 1,000 (3:05.08). Senior Julie Schultz finished sixth in the 2 mile (11:36.65).
Junior Tiffany Simione finished second in the girls 2 mile (11:24.27). Finishing seventh were junior Taylor DePalo in the 600 (1:41.29), sophomore Erin Dwinell in the 1,000 (3:10.93) senior Kylie Regan in the mile (5:18.61) and senior Katie Equi in the 55-meter hurdles (9.12). The 4x800 relay of Regan, Dwinell, Hannah Gillis and Equi finished third (9:50.94).
On the boys' side, Central Catholic went 2-3-4 in the shot put with senior Stephen Sullivan (49-7 3/4), junior Noah Joyce (49-7) and senior D'Andre Drummond-Mayrie (48-11 1/2).
Sophomore Zachary Kryznski finished sixth in the 55-meter hurdles (8.0) and junior Jack McInnis finished seventh (8.09).
