Senior guard Jamir Henderson scored 25 points on Sunday to lead Concord-Carlisle past Acton-Boxboro, 58-43, in a Dual County League crossover boys basketball game.

Senior center Blaine Taylor had 15 points and 14 rebounds as Concord-Carlisle improved to 14-1 overall.

The Patriots are 6-0 in the Dual County League Small School division.

Senior center Alex Boyd's 17 points led Acton-Boxboro.

Groton-Dunstable 56

Sophomore Corey Romich hit seven 3-pointers while scoring 23 points for Groton-Dunstable. But St. Bernard's hit a three at the buzzer to send the game into OT and went on to win.

Romich also grabbed 13 rebounds.

The North Middlesex Regional player stepped to the line with the Patriots trailing Quabbin, 46-45, with 4.8 seconds left in Townsend.

Thomas needed to make both free throws to hand the Patriots the victory.

Boys, girls basketball

He made the first to tie -- and the second handed North Middlesex a thrilling victory.

Thomas finished with 10 points.

North Middlesex improved to 8-10, while the visiting Panthers dipped to 10-7.

Bobby Larsen hit a couple of clutch 3-pointers for the Patriots en route to a team-high 13 points.

Richard Sharp also scored in double figures for North Middlesex with 11.
