HANOVER, N.H. -- The Bishop Guertin girls track and field team swept all three relay events to claim their 12th consecutive N.H. Division 1 state championship Sunday at Dartmouth College.

Molly McCabe of BG won the 600 meters in 1:22.49 and anchored all three relay teams. Briana Silck was first in the long jump at 17-5.5.

The 4x200 relay won in 1:48.36 with Silck, Carolyn Nichols, Grace Linnehan and McCabe. The 4x400 team won in 4:04.45 with Sabrina Beaulieu, Gabby Richardson, Rachel Pelletier and McCabe. And the 4x800 relay team was first in 9:43.88 with Jessica Ewing, Richardson, Breanna Veilleux and McCabe.

Alvirne High was second in the 4x800 with a foursome of Kristin Decost, Lydia Lyman, Shaylyn Saunders and Marie Morrier.

On the boys side, Guertin captured the 4x800 meter relay with a time of 8:23.49. The team was Jonathan Sheehan (Tyngsboro), Robert DeSisto (Westford), Tyler McLaren (Pepperell) and Chris Arling (Windham, N.H.). They won by 12 seconds.

Arling also took second in the 300 and McLaren was third in the 1500.

Alvirne's Noah Bellomo was second in the 1500 and Robert Younghusband was third in the 600.
