The Crusaders trailed by eight at halftime, but Estelle Penta and Madison Medina led a big comeback as Lowell Catholic improved to 10-3 (6-2 in the CCL) and qualified for state tournament play for the 10th year in a row.
Penta had 17 of her career-high 20 points in the second half and grabbed 10 rebounds. Medina had 11 in the second half and played outstanding defense.

Meg Ackerman scored 18 points while leading the Tigers past West Boylston in a Mid-Wach D game.
Erin Dorey (15 points) and Kristen Smith (13 points) also scored in double-figures for Littleton (13-2, 8-1 Mid-Wach D).
