Littleton senior goalie Tommy Angell made 22 saves.

Max McCabe gave BG a 1-0 lead in the first period with an unassisted goal, but host Pinkerton scored twice in the second period to earn the NHIAA Div. 1 win.

Adin Farhat made 19 saves for BG (1-5-1). Also playing well for the BG was defenseman Nick Apostolakes, a Groton resident.

Austin O'Neal and Cody McGowan scored single goals to lift the Wildcats past the Spartans in a Middlesex League game.

The Wildcats are now 6-1-4 overall and unbeaten in 10 straight games. Billy Falter and Mike Curtis had the assists, while senior goalie Drew Foley made 25 saves.

Dracut 5

Lowell 3

Sophomore forward Bryan Smith scored his first hat trick of his career to lead the Middies to a MVC/DCCL Division 3 victory.

Justin Lange picked up 3 assists and John Rankos had a pair, while Ricky Beckwith and Dan Girouard scored single goals for the winners. Dracut improved to 4-4-0.

As for Lowell, Ryan Freker, Armen Garavanian and Ryan Ames had single tallies in the losing effort.

With the game tied midway through the third period, Connor McGuire scored the game winning goal for Groton-Dunstable (5-3), which gave Shrewsbury its first loss of the season in this non-league game.

James Tardif scored the other goal, while Josh Rabbitt and Matt Ovenden picked up single assists. Goalie Jason Robes made 26 saves to record the win.

Westford 5

Andover 2

Jay Drapeau checked in with 2 goals and an assist, while Cam MacDonald had a goal and 2 assists as the Grey Ghosts knocked off Andover in an MV/DCL Div. 1 game.

Ryan Hesseltine potted 2 goals for Westford. Anthony Gulliver and Andrew Gounaris added 2 assists each for Westford (3-3-2). Kyle Martin made 27 saves in goal. Evan Beatty, Brian Prato and Jack Conway played strong two-way games for the Grey Ghosts.

Lincoln-Sudbury 3

In a battle of MV/DCL Div. 2 powers, the Redmen came up just short.

Tewksbury (7-2-1) tied it 1-1 in the second period on a goal by Brett Morris, unassisted by Ryan Petti and Colin Quinn. But L-S (8-1-2) took the lead later in the middle period and iced it with an empty-net goal.

Kyle Paquette was strong in Tewksbury's net with 24 saves.
