Talk about getting hot at the right time. During the regular season of the Dracut Baseball Association Major League, the Mets finished in last place with a 3-9 record while the first-place White Sox ended up 10-2.
Proving that on any given day any team can win, the Mets stormed through the playoffs and defeated the White Sox 4-3 to take the 2012 Dracut Baseball Association Major League championship. A combination of fine pitching, timely hitting and excellent fielding led the Mets to this exciting victory. This exhilarating contest came down to the final play of the game as the potential tying run was thrown out at the plate after an excellent outfield heave home. Congratulations to both teams for their wonderful year and outstanding performances.
