FITCHBURG -- The Littleton boys and girls track teams won their respective titles at the Midland-Wachusett League C Division Championship Meet at Fitchburg High Monday.

The Littleton boys compiled 81 points while topping the field. Narragansett was second at 72, followed by Oakmont Regional at 70.

The Tiger girls posted a winning total of 79 points. Lunenburg and Oakmont tied for second at 72.

Posting first place finishes for the Littleton boys were Hayden Gray in the 300 in a time of 40.17, and the 4x400 relay team in a clocking of 3:56.16.

Hunter Gray was second in the 55 hurdles at 8.18, and Robert Cooney was second in the 55 dash at 7.09.

Third place finishes were turned in by Spencer Tess (2-mile, 11:28.87), Alex Carey-Foster (600, 1:38.62), Joshua Balboni (300, 41.0) and Devin Finnerty (1000, 3:00.04).

The boys 4x200 relay (1:51.67) and 4x800 relay (9:50.09) teams also placed third.

Coming through with winning efforts for the Littleton girls were the 4x400 (4:38.93) and 4x800 relay (10:58.87) relay teams.

The 4x200 relay team was second at 2:03.23.

Alana Johnston was second in the mile (5:41.21) and 1000 (3:35.79).

Sarah Heitmeyer was second in the 600 at 1:44.50.

Sylvia Jackson was third in the 2-mile at 12:34.44, and Kaitlyn Leonard was third in the 300 at 46.58.
