ACTON — Drs. Pamela Jarboe and Lauren Yeager of Community Chiropractic, along with Lisa Medora, a licensed massage therapist, and Debbie Ward, a certified health & life coach, recently invited local women from Acton and surrounding towns to a memorable night at Great Spaces in Acton.
The event was co-sponsored by Community Chiropractic, Acton Pharmacy, RealShades.com, Scheier Katin & Epstein, Nashoba Valley Chamber, Eat-In-Good Health, Big Hill Movers, Silver Unicorn Bookstore and Illuminate Music.
The women who attended the event learned about health challenges unique to women and how to increase wellness, positivity and happiness in their lives.
"It is amazing to watch what happens when great women come together," Dr. Jarboe said. "The local businesswomen helped one another, the guests took care of themselves better, which created resources for women who need their help at the shelter. It was spectacular."
Participants enjoyed food prepared by Eat In Good Health, a healthy-meal service for busy women and families. There were also hors d'oeuvres, music, wine, and raffles and giveaways donated by local businesses.
The event raised $1,000 for House of Hope, a women's shelter in Lowell. For more information, visit https://communitychiropracticacton.com.
