Santa and a couple of his elves
Santa and a couple of his elves

On Dec. 8, Nordblom Company of 3rd Ave., in Burlington, partnered with People Helping People to host another successful annual Christmas Holiday Stroll that included a toy and food drive.

Each year, families and children get to meet jolly old Santa Claus (who is a good friend of Steve MacInnes of New Hampshire). Santa sat comfortably in an oversized chair next to a cozy fireplace inside the extravagantly designed and decorated store, The Whoo(pie) Wagon. Special thanks to well-known and talented decorator and designer Jerry Piccirillo, who festively decorated with all of his own spectacular Christmas trees, garland, silver-mounted reindeer and even his quaint fireplace.

This event always sets the mood for the holiday season. Everyone young and old gets in the holiday spirit as they shop, sip free hot chocolate, enjoy tasty treats and listen to joyful Christmas songs by the Songful Artists all thanks to 3rd Ave.'s establishments that participated that day!

Special thanks to The Whoo(pie) Wagon for all of their delicious treats; a percentage of the sales went to Adopt A Class of 2030 for the Burlington Public Schools. Also, the toys collected in the drive organized by the Burlington Fire Department went to Boston Children's Hospital.
