The Altrusa Club of Merrimack Valley continues to reach out to the community to help those in need. Each year, Altrusa observes USA Today's Make a Difference Day with a special project.

Keeping with the tradition, Altrusa purchased 22 plush fleece blankets to be distributed to individuals and families impacted by the gas explosions in the Merrimack Valley. The blankets were donated to the Andover Elder Services Disaster Relief, which provides refuge and comfort to all in time of disaster.
