On the perfect autumn afternoon of Oct. 14, Strongwater Farm hosted its second annual "Harvest Hoedown" at its serene farm.

More than 150 cowboys and girls dressed accordingly in a country-western theme. They danced and rocked to the sounds of Cory Malm and Jimmy Connor and his band, all under a beautiful white tent situated in the arena. Children had a ball with face and pumpkin-painting, hay rides, raffles, cornhole and other games.

There was also a mouth-watering pig roast, by All American BBQ, and root beer and craft ales served by Ipswich Ale in its own antique pickup truck, quenching the adults' thirsts!
