CHELMSFORD -- A yard/estate sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at 7 Plum St. in memory of Tammy (L'Heureux) Cookinham, who died unexpectedly of a heart attack, leaving behind her husband, Bill, and six children -- Tyler, Mytchel, Ben, Amberlyn, Kyle, and Lily -- ranging in age from 22 to 4 years old.

The sale will include all types of household items including furniture, holiday items and clothing. There are no pre-sales and all sales are as is and final. All proceeds benefit the Tamara Cookinham Fund. Yard sale to raise money for church building fund

LOWELL -- Christ Church United will host a yard sale to benefit the Whole Amour International Church Building Fund from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at 180 Merrimack St. Refreshments will be served.

Westford Toastmasters mark 20th anniversary

WESTFORD -- Westford Expressions Toastmasters will mark its 20th anniversary with a celebration at 7 p.m. Monday, June 30, at the J.V. Fletcher Library, 50 Main St. The public is invited to attend the event and learn more about Toastmasters, an organization that provides a supportive and positive environment where members can overcome their fear of public speaking and sharpen presentation skills, according to Anusha Santhanam, vice president of membership for the Westford group.


Chartered with 20 members in 1994, Westford Expressions meets every Monday at 7 p.m. at the J.V. Fletcher Library. For information, go to
