BEDFORD COUNCIL ON AGING: Looking for adults age 55 and older to participate in an intergenerational program called Bridges: Growing Older, Growing Together, which unites elementary school students with senior members of the local community, in an effort to promote mutual respect, understanding, and friendship between generations. PACH OUTREACH AND FOOD PANTRY: Pepperell's PACH Outreach and Food Pantry is seeking volunteers with a desire to help the community and a vehicle: Thurs. mornings, to go to Merrimack Valley Food Bank to pick up donated food (approx. 3 hours round trip); every fourth Tues., 5-7 p.m., to pack bags for PACH's shut-in clients; every fourth Thurs., noon-1:30 p.m., to deliver bags to shut-in clients; every second Tues., approx 11:45 a.m.-2:45 p.m., to pick up donated food from Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry at Devens; once a week (June-Aug.), to clean PACH food pantry offices.
