LOWELL -- The Merrimack Valley Housing Partnership will hold its first $5,000 raffle, Blooming Buck$, on May 8 at the Whistler House Museum of Art. Local Hadassah hosting heart health program
ACTON -- Nashoba Valley Hadassah will host a free heart health program from 2:30 to p.m. Sunday, April 6 at the Acton Memorial Library.The keynote speaker is Dr. Kenneth Sassower of Massachusetts General Hospital, who is board certified in sleep medicine. Karen Gannon of Groton, a nurse Mass General, will also participate. The program is part of Hadassah's national initiative, "Every Beat Counts: Hadassah's Heart Health Program," which initiative educates women about risks, prevention and detection of heart disease.
