I want to thank the Town of Dracut on behalf of The Discovery Museums for its generous donation to our Especially for Me! program.

The Dracut Cultural Council's gift helps us to provide special times for families with deaf or hard-of-hearing infants and toddlers or children on the autism spectrum, so they can visit the museums, feeling confident that The Discovery Museums will accommodate the unique social and learning needs of their children in an environment that fosters inclusion and understanding. The Museums provide these special programs free of charge, so that all families can feel welcome.

Due to overwhelming demand, The Discovery Museums have expanded this popular program from seven events last year to 12 this year, in hopes that as many children as possible will experience the museums' benefits during a time set aside especially for them.

We are honored that Dracut's Cultural Council chose to bestow what we realize are limited funds on this worthy project. I hope that your readers will visit soon to see everything the Museums have to offer.
