LOWELL -- Two locations will offer 2014 National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 5, from 6 to 9 p.m. The annual crime prevention and safety event is a night of neighbors, community and fun entertainment. Both the St. Louis School, 77 Boisvert St. at West Sixth Street, and North Common Park, Fletcher Street at Father Sarantos Way, will offer family activities, music, visits from police, fire, sheriff, and EMS units, plus games from the Lowell Parks & Recreation Department.

National Night Out celebrates partnerships within the community and brings together residents, first responders, local organizations and businesses to share a fun evening. The public is welcome to attend at both sites.
